Tim Armandpour SVP, Engineering
PagerCon is the most exciting event for me every year. This event started as an opportunity to bridge silos across a relatively small Engineering team here at PagerDuty 4 years ago. Product and Engineering teams at PagerDuty work in a distributed manner across multiple time zones, offices, and homes. We choose to build together in a manner that may not be easy for other companies. Our success depends on our people. This is what PagerCon is all about: us.
Our team members work in 18 unique locations, with the majority in San Francisco and Toronto. It is special to bring many of us together at PagerCon in both San Francisco and Toronto to learn from each other, meet other Dutonians that you may have only seen in Slack, Zoom, or Github, and spend time with one another outside of the daily work environment.
Over the last 4 years we have learned together, succeeded together, and have influenced a product that hundreds of thousands of users love and depend on. I’m looking forward to seeing you all at PagerCon 2019 and cannot wait to learn about what we will build together next!
PagerCon is the internal conference for Dutonians by Dutonians. It is a day outside of the office full of deep-dive talks, open spaces, tasty food & beverages, and fun! Not to forget fancy badges and awesome swag!
